Web development is like baking. You could make the most beautiful cake in the world, but if it's made with bad ingredients or without the consumer in mind, no one is going to eat it. I am a front-end developer who focuses on combining the right ingredients to create memorable experiences. I keep users coming back for more.

Hello,

I am a baking front-end web developer who has been coding since the age of 12. What originally started as a hobby to create a top notch guild layout on neopets.com has turned into a passion and a hobby.

I constantly strive to create websites people want to use and come back to. I write in clean, standards-compliant code because I know that affects the quality of a website in the same way technique and quality of ingredients affect the quality of the baked good.

I also focus on making websites as easy and intuitive to navigate as possible. I know if a user has to exert excessive energy or thought to find content, they may not see it as something worth coming back to.

During my time at Michigan State University, I have worked with programmers, graphic designers and communication managers to brand the College of Arts & Letters at Michigan State on the web and I have been exposed to every phase of web development – from the initial concept to the final launch and upkeep.

Please browse my portfolio, check out my resume, and view my blog to learn about my current projects. If you would like to learn more about my escapades in baking, feel free to peruse my food blog. Please, do not hesitate to contact me if I seem like someone you would like to work with.
